Poetry can be saved by rock music,
says Chris Connelly, and any fan of his music would agree. Chris is a true songwriter, crafting beautiful music to accompany lyrical images. His first book, Confessions of the Highest Bidder, allows his songwords to stand alone and shine for themselves. To prove that Chris is not only a great musician but also a true poet, additional unreleased songwords and poems are included in this book.
The idea for publishing Chris’s song lyrics and poetry surfaced in 1996, during an online chat. Multiple fans urged Chris to make his work available in print, and shortly after, Chris began compiling. The final result was released in 1999.
